Trouble installing xserver-xfree86 for Debian 3.0

This seems like a dumb question but I am stuck looking for help.
I am trying to install xserver-xfree86 and I get up to the screen where
I need to select the video modes. I hit the <spacebar> and have highlighted all the basic modes I want. At this point I can't exit from this screen. In the bottom center of the screen there is an <ok> button. I expected to hit <enter> to highlight this button and move to the next step.
Unfortunately this is not the case. I can not for the life of me figure out how to highlight <ok> and exit this screen.
