trouble installing modems-help

hi.

i have decided to download lycoris linux, but it will not install my 3 com cable modem external usb or my conexant 56 kflex modem.anyone know where i can download the drivers for theses hardware devices for linux. i went to there website, no drivers listed for the harware i,m trying to install, but had articles about linux using there devices . any help appreciated

Does your cable modem support ethernet? If so get a card and use that instead of the USB connection. For your infernel modem have a look at linmodems.org and here for linux-conexant.
