Trident Cyberblade - multiple X log entries.

Blarghhhh. I've got a gazillion of these
[code](II) TRIDENT(0): vgaHWGetIOBase: hwp->IOBase is 0x03d0, hwp->PIOOffset is 0x0000
{/code]
in my XFree86.0.log file. It appears to happen when I move my mouse. It looks like my ps/2 mouse is crashing into my Trident Cyberblade video card. This is on the Slack 8.1 box runnnig the latest XFree86 slak pkgupdates.

I've tried BIOS settings and poked around at some XFree options in for the trident module and still no luck. Googled too and realized that being monolingual has its disadvantages.

Nothing actually crashes, but continuously writing to the logs is just annoying.

Solved. This is the sound of no drives thrashing...

I used the following configuration in XFree86Config
Code:
Option     "MMIOonly"       "true"
Option     "SWcursor"      "true"
Option          "PciRetry"      "true
