Exclamation Treo 650/700p and Linux

I know this question has been asked before, but the reason it is being repeated is because it has yet to be answered well.

I have a Treo 700p Smartphone (Palm OS) that I wish to sync with evolution.

IDEALY
I would Love to be able to sync it via bluetooth, but sadly I realize its quite a challenge even to sync it via USB.

So, I tried gnome-pilot, which works inconsistently. Sometimes its syncs, sometimes it doesn't. Occasionaly it locks up, and my treo 700p gets stuck displaying "identifying user" on the screen while gnome-pilot locks up.

I also tried j-pilot,its alright but unfortunteatly it lacks the ability to sync with evolution.

Any assistance would be useful, I need to get this treo syncing with linux before I get back to college.

Bottom Line: What is the most reliable way of syncing my treo 700p and Evolution?

J.W., Thanks for providing the link when you closed the duplicate thread. BTW, I think this one has a much better title.

jrattner1, vis à vis "Treo 700p Sync Evolution PLEASE READ", please consider: http://linuxmafia.com/faq/Essays/sma...ns.html#urgent

And good luck w/ your problem, I look fwd. to seeing if the answers have any relevance to Kontact & my Sony-Ericsson W600i.
