touchscreen monitor and linux


hi
I would like to know if touchscreen vga lcd monitors (like 3m models) can be used with linux.

yeah, most work fine, but depends on what the actual chipsets are in the monitor. i used to use a microtouch monitor, and the elo touchscreens work fine too, they just appear as another pointer device, like a mouse or trackball.
