Touchpad unable to right click or drag windows since kernel 5.12 update

Hello,
I have a Starlabs Mark IV and since June this year, my touchpad has lost all right-click functionality(no context menu) and I can no longer drag windows I Have recently found there is a known issue with libinput, and it has recently been fixed upstream. Starlabs released a fix yesterday but it has not been able to resolve the problem.
The issue occurs when I upgrade from kernel 5.11 to 5.12(Kubuntu 21.04 to 21.10). I also experienced the same problem when I was on Manjaro(KDE and Gnome).
When I run libinput list-devices | grep Touchpad command I notice the output changes when I upgrade.
On 21.04 when my system is working I get the output - kernel bug: clickpad advertising right button
However on 21.10 when it breaks the output is - kernel bug:clickpad with a right button, assuming it is not a clickpad.

Has anyone else had any similar issues?, and if so have any idea how it can be resolved.
I am running version 1.18.1 libinput, would up/downgrading libinput either likely to fix the issue or break my system?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

So how did you install the fix, and where and what exactly is it? A new version of libinput with a bugfix? A fixed kernel module? Something else? Where?

It sounds to me like you should be fine with any *buntu LTS release.

Best to show us that output.
Preferably without grepping, if it isn't too long.

Touchpad unable to click or drag windows since kernel 5.12 update

I installed the fix via Starlabs ppa (https://support.starlabs.systems/kb/...r-drag-windows). This was a vendor quirk file installed into usr/share/libinput.
Output for 21.04
steve@steve-LabTop:~$ sudo libinput list-devices | grep Touchpad
[sudo] password for steve:
event7 - PCT1336:00 093A:1336 Touchpad: kernel bug: clickpad advertising right button
Device: PCT1336:00 093A:1336 Touchpad
Output for 21.10
steve@steve-LabTop:~$ sudo libinput list-devices | grep Touchpad
[sudo] password for steve:
event10 - PCT1336:00 093A:1336 Touchpad: kernel bug: clickpad with right button, assuming it is not a clickpad
Device: PCT1336:00 093A:1336 Touchpad

Show us the device list without grepping, if it isn't too long.

Also:
Code:
dpkg -L starlabs-touchpad libinput*
apt-cache policy starlabs-touchpad libinput*

Touchpad unable to right click or drag windows after 5.12 kernel update

Starlabs have altered their fix I assume.
This fix was for Debian based distros, however, for non Debian distros there is a separate fix.
If anyone has similar issues, please visit https://support.starlabs.systems/kb/...r-drag-windows to resolve issue
