touch screen input slows down after using cellwriter

hi,

I have the hp pavilion tx1000 tablet pc. Recently I installed the cellwriter and dasher for on screen text entry. When I use those programs, though at first it works fine, after a while, the responsiveness of the touch screen becomes quite sluggish. I dont know the reason for that. I dont know how to rectify that. Quitting the programs doesn't work out either. Only restarting does. Can anyone help me how to fix that?

I have configured my touchscreen with the help of the egalax driver in xorg.conf as below

Code:
Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier "EETI"
    Driver "egalax"
    Option "Device" "usbauto"
    #Option "ReportingMode" "Raw"
    #Option "MinX" "98"
    #Option "MaxX" "1140"
    Option "ScreenNo" "0"
    Option "Parameters" "/etc/egalax.cal"
    Option "DeviceName" "EETI"
    #Option "MaxY" "725"
    #Option "MinY" "43"
EndSection
