Toshiba Satelite C75-A-156 Debian 8 Install Problems

Hi,

As per the subject I'm trying to get Debian 8 to install on my laptop, it's going to be dual boot with Windows 8.1 however that isn't the issue. I have correctly downloaded the ISO to support UEFI and changed all the settings to allow it to boot and start the install process. The problem I am having is that both the graphical and text installs default to 1/4 of the screen making it impossible to read some of the installation options (the graphical installation does not even recognise the mouse). I'm sure there is a command during install to force the resolution or display options and installation type but after searching the net I can't find it so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Scoot
