Toshiba 500CDT Soundcard installation issue

Hello everyone.
I'm trying to get my soundcard working, however I can't get it working!

lspci:
0000:00:00.0 Host bridge: Toshiba America Info Systems 601 (rev 11)
0000:00:04.0 VGA compatible controller: Chips and Technologies F65550 (rev 05

Model name/No. Tecra 500CDT / PA1221U-T2xx
Processor Intel Pentium(R) 120MHz w/VRT
Memory: 48Mbram
HDD 4GB
Display Display TFT Active Matrix Color 12.1 968x726
Display controller C&T HIQV32 (CT65550)
Video RAM 2MB
Sound CS4232, OPL3(YMF262), YAC512

I'm using Debian with the 2.6.8 kernel

I'm getting the following error while modprobeing cs4232:

inserting cs4232 (/lib/modules/2.6.8-2-386/kernel/sound/oss/cs4232.ko): No such device

I'm sure the card isn't broken, it worked on M$

Help would be extreamly apreciated.
