Toshiba 4600 internal modem


I have sucessfully installed Redhat 8.0 on my laptop, after two day research and various config checks I'm still unable to detect/connect via my internal 56K modem or pcmcia modem, however the internal network card function ok

Please advise

i'm afraid you are out of luck with your internal modem (win/soft-modem).

Thanks for the link I have managed to cure the problem using the pcmcia modem slot
