Too many copies come out of printer

I am running PCLOS 0.93 minime, running KDE 3.5.3. I have a Epson Stylus Photo 785EPX.

When I try to print multiple copies of a document out of KPDF, the printer spits out too many copies. For example, if I select that I want 2 copies in the print dialog, the printer ends up spitting out 4 copies.

Note that I do not have this problem when printing from Open Office.

Anyone have any ideas?

Interesting. Have you tried printing from other KDE software?

Maybe throw together a text file in Kate and print that, as well as a Koffice document.
