Hey all, got a question for you.

I'm running an MSI KT3 Ultra with onboard RAID, and 2 40GB IDE HD's. RH9 on one, (/dev/hdb) and Window$(/dev/hda) on the other. I've gotten profficent enough in Linux that I'm more than willing to take the plunge, have been for a while, to Linux only. My question is twofold.

First, I want RH to utilize both HD's. I know that I can configure a RAID, but will I loose my existing information?

Second, is there another solution besides RAID that would allow the 2 HD's to operate like 1 80Gb HD?

erm.. guess it's three-fold, can anyone suggest any sites out there that might point me in the right direction to making this decision, or can anyone give me advice on doing either or?

I'm not completely opposed to wiping My hard drive and starting over, that's why I back things up, though to be honest I would prefer to not have to go through reinstalling everything.

Any suggestions are appreciated, and if you need more info, just ask.
