the most apropiate ethernet wireless card for linux

Hi everybody,
I'm planing to buy an ethernet wireless card for my laptop and i would to know what could be the best choice to don't have problems with linux.
Also i would like to know the differences between an USB ethernet wireless card or PCMCIA wireless card. Which could be much better or more recommandable?

I've used a linksys PCMCIA card with success, and I've also tried USB based ones without success, granted I didn't try that hard.
I'd say go PCMCIA, but you should do the research first, type the part number along with 'linux' into google and see what comes up.
