the cdrome wont work

I need a cd to run but when I goto /mnt/cdrom nothin is there even thou I run mount cdrom. What do I do to fix this?

What happens when you do an ls /mnt/cdrom after mounting?

Just a note to any Mandrake users reading this: by default you will be running something called supermount that will mount your CD when you try to access /mnt/cdrom. If you are having troubles like this, then try disabling supermount first.
