TFM-PCIV92A 56k modem on Ubuntu.
Hi my friend is having trouble with getting his dial up modem working in Ubuntu 5.10. The modem is TFM-PCIV92A model number. I did a search for it on google.com/linux but got few hits and the actually manufactor site only has drivers for windows. Is Ndiswrapper only for wireless or could this help us out in this problem? It looks like it uses an Agere chipset Is there a generic driver that we could us? What kind of sources could i look to for generic drivers? thanks for any help in advance.
