Terratec dm6fire and alsa driver

Hi!
I have problems installing the alsa driver for my terratec dm6fire
sound card. When I have to insert the modules into the kernel doing:
modprobe snd-ice1712;modprobe snd-pcm-oss;modprobe snd-mixer-oss;modprobe snd-seq-oss

These are the errors:
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/sound/acore/snd.o: unresolved symbol __write_lock_failed
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/sound/acore/snd.o: unresolved symbol kernel_flag_cacheline
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/sound/acore/snd.o: unresolved symbol __read_lock_failed
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/sound/acore/snd.o: unresolved symbol schedule_work

As I viewed in some post of internet, it seems that the driver has built in a kernel diferent than mine (it's the 2.4.20-8).
What are the solutions?
I have tried other versions of the driver like: 0.9.0rc6, 0.9.1,
0.9.3 and 0.9.6 (this is the last). But they doesn't work.
How I know what's the version appropiate for my kernel?
Have I shoud recompile other kernel version to run the soundcard?
What kernel version I should update?

Thanks!
Gerardo
