tablet stopped working - no xxd output


hi
i have intuos2 tablet and fc5 system. tablet worked fine for a couple of weeks, but suddenly it stopped. i thought that something is wrong with my xorg.conf, but before changing it i also did "xxd /dev/input/event2".
i got no output.
"cat /proc/bus/input/devices" gave me this:
