I purchased a Lenovo Tab3 8" Tablet I've never dealt with WiFi before and know nothing about it. No Manual sent with tablet, no instructions. Label on back of tablet shows SSID/MAC Id.number and password.
How do I set this thing up to connect to the Internet through the tablets built in WiFi ? I've tried everything I can think of but keep getting message no connection. I think it's my lack of knowledge. Emailing Lenovo has not worked, no reply!
I'm not familiar with your tablet but as far as Android goes I would try swiping down with my finger from the status bar. A menu should be displayed where there is a wifi icon or it should be available by selecting the settings icon.
You should see a list of available networks and hopefully yours is displayed. Select it and enter the password, the tablet should then after a few seconds indicate it is connected.

Video does show how to connect this tablet, maybe you can follow the instructions for your tablet.
Maybe your information for the tablet is a typo.
Hope this helps.
Have fun & enjoy!
Thank you onebuck and the others, first off it was a typo error, it's a Lenovo Tab3 8" not a Tab8. You and others gave some good information and links which I bookmarked. I should be able to get it connected now. I will come back and give you a report when things are working.
