lino LQ Newbie Registered: Aug 2003 Posts: 3 Rep:	system hangs after first boot.. I use a dual boot system..and have lilo as a boot loader.. i installed red hat 8..when i booted the system for the first time. the kernel was loaded and after the message attempting first boot the system hangs.. I have the following config: M/b: Asus A7N266-VM RAM:256 DDR HDD : 20 GB/10 FOR LINUX PROCESS.: AMD Athlon 1700+ Plz Help..
