System Freezes During Hardware Configuration
I just finished installing SuSE 10.0 OSS (with various problems, but I made it through in the end). At the very end of the installation, it came to Hardware Configuration and my whole system just froze. I was forced to reboot manually, and Linux ran just fine. I went into YaST2 and tried to run hardware configuration, and my whole system froze right at detecting Printer (51%). I wonder if my printer is incompatible with SuSE 10.0? I have an HP PSC (Printer-Scanner-Copier) 2175 All-In-One. Something I just now noticed (while typing this) is that my printer's buttons were flashing and the display said my ink cartridge was low. Maybe Linux got confused because of this?
I'll go try running YaST2 again with the printer not flashing, and if that doesn't work, I'll unplug it and try. If there are any more suggestions, I definitely need them.
Thanks,
Adam
