I installed my harddisk with Suse Linux 8 professional. Automatic attemt failed so I have to confirm one by one the progress. The installation is as follows:
- install usb-core : OK
- install usb-hci : OK
- install ehci_hcd : clicking OK will result hang in installation, so I clicked cancel
- install usb storage: OK
- install linux lvm-mod: OK

I used Gigabyte motherboard, P4Titan model GA-81PE1000 with intel 865PE chipset, AGP8x/dual channel DDR. The motherboard provides installation disk (express installation that will install all onboard devices such as network card, modem, and usb as well as sound card), however the disk do not work for linux 8 suse.

As at this time I have not been able to do anything with my computer as the result of those failures. Please help me with explanation and steps to do. I sent email to intel and they send me a file that I need to install, but the direction (readme) do not seem to relate with the file that was sent. The names of the file do not correspond with the readme file - etc. Thanks
