I have a 5.1 speakers setup (analog) and i only get static through the centre speaker. I get music from the left a right speakers but its very low volume.
Windows works fine, so does redhat
I thinks its the digital out of the sound card. In windows i can turn the output to analog/digital but i don't know where to change this in SuSE 8.1
I am almost positive that you have to install sound blasters open source drivers to change to digital output but i havent figured out why i cant get them to install on Suse 8.2 hope this helps
