Suse 9 and Sony AITI100A Tape Drive

Working on building a server for a customer but have an expense constraint. So, I'm looking into using a Sony AITI100A tape drive in this system. He will be using Novell Groupware under Suse 9.

All I really need to know is will this tape drive work under Suse? I've checked their site but have found no documentation to support this nor has anyone from Novell gotten back to me about this.
