SuSE 9.2 wont enable 2wire usb wireless adapter

Okay so I definately have to deal with my hardware problem first.

It didn't showup when I ran the lsusb and lspci commands. When I ran ifconfig it came back with eth0 and lo.

You are right, I think I just need to get the device recognized and the network settings hammered out and i wont need to fuss with the drivers.

When I look in the suseplugger I can find it under unknown. It comes up with the name 2 wire usb adapter and I can insert it, but I can't configure it . In the details tab it says that it is Available, the configuration is New, and that it is active. On the resources tab it says that the speed is 0bps. Needless to say it still doesn't work.

I don't get it. How can I get SuSe to recognize it?

I'm going to troll around the linux usb project page and see if I can find out anythiing.

I'm not sure how much luck you will have with 2wire. I didn't have a whole lot of luck with them running windows.

If you happen to have a knoppix disk, stick that in and see if it finds it. I wouldn't be too surprised if it didn't, but if it does, post back here and I'll see if I can help.
