Question SuSE 8.2 Nvivdia GeforceTI4200 framebuffer does not work

Hi

Got a problem with SuSE 8.2. and a Geforce Ti4200 AGP 8, 128 MB. The installation of SuSE was teribble - no graphic mode, just pure text installation... Splashscreen and X Server does not work.
But the Grub Bootscreen was colored...
OK.

Installation was finally successful and X worked with nv - modul. After this I installed the latest nvidia driver from www.nvidia.de and 3d worked fine.

But Splashscreen and X Server does not work and i still can't see any bootmessages. The only why to get it working is to boot with vga=normal... but you only get text mode...

Is there any way to get the card 3D accelerated and running a framebuffer console (Bootsplash)!?!

(acpi=off apm=off does not work)

SuSE 8.2 Athlon Kernel
Nvidia Treiber 1.0-4349
Geforce4 AOpen Aeolus Ti4200S 8X 128MB
1,3 GB RAM
Epox KTA3 (KT133a)
Samsung 700p Plus (96KHz)
