Suse 10 Yast "hardware info" hangs on braille

I have tried a dozen or more times. Every time I try
Yast "hardware info" on one of my Suse 10 systems it
hangs at 17% on "braille."

Does anyone have any ideas what I might try?

I have thought of system restoration in yast but I
have not done system backup yet. I also looked
for braille in yast Software Management but it
did not find anything.

Hardware Scan: Braille Hangup

What finally fixed the hanging problem in my 9.3 SUSE was to upgrade KDE to 3.5, and the various libraries that go with it. Best of Luck.
