Question SuSE 10.1 - No sound anymore (from time to time)...

Hi there,

a few days after the installation of OpenSuSE 10.1 I seem to have 'lost' my afore properly working soundcard (Soundblaster Live! 24Bit) though it is still recognized (YaST > Hardware > Hardware Info) and accessible for configuration (YaST > Hardware > Sound). The times it doesn't work (cause from time to time it does!) Kmix (or any other volume control program) shows me another device (Conexant CX8811) which must be part of my Hauppauge TV-card . While trying this tipp without any success I looked at the boot.msg (/var/log/boot.msg) which tells me that

Code:
<3>ALSA sound/core/init.c:132: cannot find the slot for index 0 (range 0-0)
<4>CA0106: probe of 0000:02:0a.0 failed with error -12

Konsole-output after //sbin/lsmof command looks like:

Code:
