streaming video, flash games painfully sluggish with IGP320 video chipset
I know this video "card" basically hates Linux for whatever reason, but i am baffled that i cant find any drivers/fix instructions anywhere online. I find seemingly endless posts dating back to the time of its release regarding problems with it, but I can't seem to find any solutions.
I find this incredibly hard to believe (but not impossible), since it is from what i can tell a very common video chipset, that was used in many laptops.
I am fairly new to Linux, currently running Lubuntu 10.10 on an HP ze4400 laptop (approx 1.8 ghz Athlon xp-m, 1gb RAM, 30 GB HDD)
The Closest thing to a solution i have ever found has been people saying you need to compile your own driver, if i remember correctly, but never anything regarding how this is done.
Any help is greatly appreciated, and if any more information would be helpful i will be glad to get it for you.
Thanks in advance, i love Linux and have abandoned windows on both my computers, this seems to be the only restriction/speedbump i hav found yet.
