Strange eth0 error during bootup

I booted my dual PII box (Running FC3)

After bootup, eth0 would not work. Upon investigation, found in /var/log/messages. What does it mean.

I knew it had something to do with the ethernet card. I took it out, dusted it with the compressed air spray, as I did the rest of the machine (which get very dusty every few months), reinstalled the card and it worked again.

Code:

kernel: e100: Intel(R) PRO/100 Network Driver, 3.0.27-k2-NAPI
kernel: e100: Copyright(c) 1999-2004 Intel Corporation
kernel: PCI: Enabling device 0000:00:12.0 (0000 -> 0002)
kernel: PCI: No IRQ known for interrupt pin @ of device 0000:00:12.0. Probably buggy MP table.
kernel: e100: eth%%d: e100_probe: Cannot find proper PCI device base address, aborting.
kernel: USB Universal Host Controller Interface driver v2.2
kernel: PCI: Enabling device 0000:00:07.2 (0000 -> 0001)
kernel: PCI: No IRQ known for interrupt pin C of device 0000:00:07.2. Probably buggy MP table.

Dust

Dust is the enemy of all PCs especially one as old as this. Just
clean it out and be thankful that it works again and replace that
non-working fan.

I dusted it off and it works again. Strange.

This is BTW the 2nd time I had to do this, last time was a year ago. It appears dust gets where the electrical connectors are and they loose connectivity.
