Stop Determining IP during boot

Hi,
I installed Fedora 8 on my T61. After installing, I found Fedora will try to Determining IP during boot.
It takes a long time to determining the IP. I am wondering if it is possible to stop this? Thank you for your help.

Richard.

Yep, check your /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethX and/or ifcfg-wlanX files for line entires like;

ONBOOT=yes
ONHOTPLUG=yes

Change the the values to be: no
