Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Stack 16 kernel and ATI drivers

I am attempting to install the ati drivers (fglrx_6_8_0-8.10.19-1.i386) for my radeon 9800 and receive the following error:

FATAL: Error inserting fglrx (/lib/modules/2.6.10-1.766_FC3.stk16/kernel/drivers/char/drm/fglrx.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

I believe that this has something to do with my kernel (downloaded from Linuxant for use with ndiswrapper). Any solutions?

2.6.10-1.766_FC3.stk16
