ssl and data recovery.

Can ssl prevent someone from reconstructing deleted data?
I want to set an older pc that has deleted passwords into a https server.
I have research the os fire. and it has the capability to reconstruct deleted data. can this be prevented with ssl?

There are several utilities to do this one of which is :

http://sourceforge.net/projects/wipe/

Run it from a floppy, and run it a few times, and bye bye data.
