spot any hardware compatability issues before i purchase?

I am going to be putting a server together in the near future and I am picking out my pieces. I want to make sure that nobody knows of any hardware complications with Debian etch 64-bit before I purchase. I have put the name and a link to the newegg page for each item in question:

Also, does anyone know anything about this raid controller (or could recommend a better selection)? I googled it and people say that it "works" with linux. Does anyone know specifically which monitoring tools will work with this card from the Debian etch distro. I am going to do raid 10 or 5. I am leaning towards 10.

Outside of webcams, wireless cards, and printers. Most hardware functions reasonably well under linux. Or at least functions.

Doesn't Debian have a list of supported hardware?

I have heard that 3ware raid cards are excellently supported on Linux. Indeed, a good number of lines of 3ware driver code are distributed in the main kernel package. I am jealous, and hope you enjoy this device.

Sigh, yea lots of people have those. But no one updates them and they're wimpy in comparison to spending the time researching out on the internetz.

3Ware would be (and has been) my choice for Linux RAID controllers.
