Speedtouch 330 with fast DSL access.

I have a discussion with my ISP about the DSL connection. According to them, they have increased the down and upload speed of the ADSL connection up to 1024 / 320. In the real world it has become as fast as the analog telephone line. They don't have any idea what Linux means, but according to them, the problems are due to my Speedtouch 330 modem. Does anyone have experiance with "fast" ADSL-access with the Speedtouch 330 modem ?

Hi.

The Speedtouch 330 should be good for 8Mb down and 800k up.

Have you tested the actual speeds you're getting? The following's a reasonable speed tester:

It could be the microcode you're using. mgmt.o is OK, but I've had the best results from using firmware.bin from the Mac installation instead.
