Speedtouch 330 problems in openSUSE
Hello. I installed openSUSE on my PC the other day and tried to connect it to the web. I have tried to set up my speedtouch 330 usb modem but am struggling to operate the firmware extractor in openSUSE.
I am using the tutorial at http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/suse/index.html but all the commands it gave me for the firmware extractor do not work. I have followed the instructions for it several times but keep failing. Please help!!! My options are limited as I cannot connect to the web in Linux yet so I have to keep booting in and out of windows to download files. |

Sorry you can call the speedtouch in webbrouser with his ip adres
Normally it is the same for all speedtoch modem It is 192.168.1.254 |
The Speedtouch 330 is not a hardware modem or router. It is USB which makes it complicated. It means that I have to give linux the firmware but the firmware extractor doesn't seem to work.
