SPEED TOUCH 330 Black (rev 4) not starting ???

Hi there

I used the souceforge howto in order to make my ADSL modem to work under FEDORA CORE 3.
Problem is i still don't have interent access. I can see PPP0 service starting [OK] but I still can't figure aout why I cannon access any internet sites... i know i did everything by the book but nothing seems to be working.
Can someone shed some light over this issue, i really DON'T want to go back to windows.

What is the output of ifconfig ppp0 ?

What is the content of /etc/resolv.conf ?

Well me baing new to Linux and all didn't know how to look deep enough.
I did everything good alright but the fact was that the modem didn;t actually start. I could see the lights blinking at start up and then settling down meaning it was all ok.
I looked into networkin device manager and it seems that the problem was laying in the fact that the device was INACTIVE, clicked configure and made the device start with the machine... i INIT 6 it and it was sailing like no other
