Speakers detected by OpenSUSE, but not Microphone?

Hey all, hope I'm in the right category. Basically, I've discovered that SUSE recognizes my internal speakers and sound card in my laptop (DELL Vostro 5590), but doesn't recognize that I have an internal microphone as well.

When I run
Code:
lspci | grep audio
I get the following output:

Code:
jake@1337:~> sudo lspci | grep audio
00:1f.3 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation Comet Lake PCH-LP cAVS
I'm not sure if this is a driver issue (would there be a separate driver for a mic and speakers?) or if there's something I'm missing. I installed pavucontrol and there aren't any input devices detected there either.

For testing purposes, if this machine has an audio jack, does the system detect an external microphone?

frankbell sorry for the late reply,

yes, it works with externl speakers. I initially discovered this issue while trying to call via Skype, when I saw that there was no microphone recognized. I was able to get a USB webcam/microphone to work.

Same here

Absolutely same problem here. When using zoom without headset, no microphone detected. When I plug in Headset everything is fine trough the headset. In Audio devices the system see just the speakers. I tried adding audio, video and pulse from user and group management to my normal account with no luck.
