Unhappy Soundsticks on Mandrake 9.1


Tring to get my soundsticks to work under mandrake 9.1, but when i plug them in the syustem hangs. Also if I plug before booting starts it also hangs, has anyone got them to work??

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Wow, I had to look up what a soundstick was, and there are sweet, http://www.harman-multimedia.com/sho...4&sku=SS&id1=1 .
I couldn't find anything searching on 'linux soundstick', so I suggest you send email to technicalsupport@harman-multimedia.com , and ask them where is the linux support, drivers, etc for those beautiful speakers.

Correction: See http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/showdev.php?id=768 . So maybe it's a config problem.
1. Power to sub must be on prior to pluggin in.
2. Boot with no usb speaker in.
3. plug in usb speaker after boot.
4. give us the relevant output of 'dmesg' and '/var/log/messages' after plugging in speaker, along with output of 'lsusb'
