Got a new soundblaster card the 'Blaster Live 24 bit one, its a 5,6,or 7.1 card' and it dosent seem to be compatible with LINUX 9.0.
Wondering if it os or if need an nother driver downloaded to run it.

sound card

did that and got it all installed from the source code. still no sound.
But did notice that in the hardware browser under soundcards it lists CM8378 coresponding to cmpci driver, then second generic snd-ca0106 device with coresponding snd-ca0106 driver. Thinking is still trying to use the first one it lists that dosent work, rather than the ca0106. But figuring out how to delete the first one CM8378 and its coresponding driver from the hardware list for sound.
