SoundCard Problem in FC3


Hi,
I am R.Vivek...Cud someone help me solve this problem....I have FC3 installed on my AMD machine...I am able to run xmms & it plays mp3 also..but i dont hear the sound...
I tried to output the sound to sound drivers like alsa,arts...etc...but evrything it says is busy...
I even opened ALSA mixer & unmuted evrything..but still of no use...Cud u please help me out with this....& one more thing also...how do i find out which driver is the best for my computer.....Pl.Help.....

This problem happened only with xmms or some other multimedia player as well?

Yeah....it happened with amarok also...Cud u pl. tell me how i get it out..Tell me how to find the drivers that are needed for my computer also...Pl. Help

The sound driver said it's busy? It sound like a software conflict problem, did you install any new software recently?
