Soundcard not working

After i got a new computer case and moved everything into it, my sound no longer works.
The only thing that has changed is that i moved my network and sound card to different PCI slots.

However, if i edit /etc/modules.conf and remove the line "alias sound-slot-0 es1371" and reboot and run the redhat/gnome soundcard detection program, then my sound works, but i have to do that every time i boot and it's rather annoying.

Pull the sound card configs out of /etc/sysconf/hwconf. Run
/etc/init.d/kudzu start;
Go adhead and have it configure the cards again. Next time you reboot all should be well.
