I'm using a soundblaster pci64 sound card with a mandrake 10.1. The sound is not very good, with clicks. I read that for this card, the correct driver is snd-audiopci . I did not find this driver on the mandrake 10.1 (snd-es1370 is loaded), so, where can I find it ? (snd-audiopci) if possible in a rpm compatible with the mandrake 10.1 or something easy to install.
Thanks Peacedog. I tried both drivers (ens1370 and ens1371), they are still some clicks on the sound with these drivers. I read that the soundblaster works with the snd-audiopci driver. Is this driver still "alive" ?

Let's see what /sbin/lsmod says. My guess is the mixer settings just need some tweaking. If you check back at the links from my first post you may find some tweaks at the bottom of both pages.
good luck.
