Soundblaster PCI 128 - No sound from rear..

Hello!!

I've got an Soundblaster PCI 128 soundcard. The only problem is that it seems that I only can get sound from the front speakers and ofcourse I also want to get sound from the rear ones..

Is it some way to work around this?

Please help!

try using
Code:
alsamixer
or any other mixer. Look at all the volumes. They may be muted. In my case I think the rear speaker volumes are controlled by "Wave Sourround".

Thanks for your qick reply! Unfourtiunately, I didn't have an item for "Wave surround" or something like if.. However, some of the "channels" were [off], is it any way to turn them on?

in alsamixer if the are off but you see an volume bar over the channels press m to unmute them. then use the arrows to adjust the volumes

Thanks, VERY fast answering!

I tested to unmute all, and to raise the volume, but still no sound..

I dont think the channel is there, it's the same problem on winXP (not so suprised)..

I know that this card works, it did when I had it in an old box, with win98..
