SoundBlaster live

Im using Debian woody , and im still trying to get my soundblaster live 1024 to work.
I have installed the alsa driver.
Since the the emu10k1 is not loaded automatically i type : "modprobe emu10k1"

now when i type " /sbin/lsmod " i can see that emu10k1, sound ac97_codec and soundcre are loaded.

Does that mean that i have "sound" ??
Is what im doing wrong?
And what should i doe now?
