Sound won't work on SUSE 9.1 Personal, SB Audigy 2

Hi!

I'm on SUSE Linux 9.1 Personal... and I use a Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 (not the ZS version).

SUSE detected the soundcard nearly perfectly.

It says: [0] SB Audigy Running

I have all updates installed it found in the installation.

kdemultimedia3-mixer isn't installed and never has been.

I removed the soundcard and types yast sound add, but that made no diffrence.

All volumes and PCM are on 100, nothing is muted.
Sound test or XMMS both won't work.

Hi!

It's easy to fix.

Here's how to:
1. Go to the console (su -) and type alsamixer
2. Unmute digital/analog output

If that doesn't work, unmute anything else (quite a lot usually) you see there.
This should work.

Also, when you install it, don't install kdemultimedia3-mixer or something.
That package seems to screw up sound aswell.

Hope this works for you!
