danishmr LQ Newbie Registered: May 2002 Location: Lahore, Pakistan Posts: 26 Rep:	Sound with Intel 810E Chipset I have an intel 810E deskboard. Althought the 810E chipset and its sound device is reprted as "supported" by Red Had Linux, it is not working on my PC. I'm running Red Hat Linux 7.2. I've tried the setup utility and couldn't get anywhere. It detects the proper sound driver and reports no error. However I can gear the sample sound. Plus, the aRts sound server gives an error message when initializing
