Sound with a broken sound card

Hi!

As my laptop is going down the drain recently, my sound card has broken. (Checked every HowTo I found, conclusion: hardware error.) So, I'd like to catch what would have been sound to get it onto my Android device and play it from there. Is there any way to do this? All the methods I found include accessing /dev/dsp, but the device isn't even created.

Thanks in advance!
V

PS: Running Aptosid with ALSA, dist-upgraded a week ago.
