oh btw i just went to system tools and clicked Soundcard Dectection and this is what came up

Vendor:Apple Computer inc.
Model: PowerMac Sound
Module: snd_powermac

there is a button for test sound and if i hit it sometimes it will play the test sound ONLY when i go to logout of x othertimes it will delay a bit but play the sound other times it will play it close to instantly

i read somewhere it might be something related to a config file like somethingwas writen inthere wrong but i have no clue on how to access these files muchless where to find them or how to fix them lol thanks
