sound on my pc coming on one side of the speaker on fedora 5 64


my pc config
amd 64 3200(NVIDIA CHIPSET)
asus A8N -VM
SEAGATE 80 GB
512 KINSTON
SOUNDCARD SOUNDMAX
SOUND IS COMING ON ONE SIDE OF SPEAKER AFTER INSTALLINF FEDORA 5 64BIT .........WHAT SHOULD I DO???????????
