Sound on ASUS P4C800 E-Deluxe

I have installed the drivers, lib, utils from ALSA. Sound does not work. When I type 'alsamixer' it says it can't find some file.

I need RPMs for RH8.0, i686, 2.4.18-14.

Can someone out there please help me.

Thanks,

What file can't it find? We need the actual name - could you copy and paste the full error message that you receive (and what distro and version you are using, eg Redhat 8.0).
